The 2009/2010 hockey pool will raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled Canadians through sport. Please see the following link for information on Special Olympics: www.specialolympics.ca
The Grand Prize is a 50 inch plasma TV and Stratford Leather Recliner, Courtesy of City Furniture, and will be will be awarded to the entry with the most points at the end of the 2009-10 regular NHL season. The Runner Up prize is 30,000 Aeroplan points, donated by Uniglobe Guardian Travel, and will be awarded to the entry with the second most points at the end of the 2009-10 regular season. In the event of a tie the first person to have registered and paid for their pool will be determined to be the winner.
Westlund-Div of EMCO Corporation is donating 2 club seats for the March 26th game Edmonton vs. Anaheim. The winner of these tickets will be the pool leader at the Olympic Break.
Entries must be received and paid by November 1, 2009
At the Olympic break in the schedule (February 15 to February 28) poolies may drop up to 3 players and pick up 3 new players. You must pick up a player from the same bracket that you dropped one from. You can only pick up new players during the Olympic break.
