Brad Brain, B.A. (Economics) , CFP, R.F.P., FMA, FCSI, CH.F.C., CLU, has seventeen years of experience in the financial services sector, including fifteen years as a practicing financial planner. Additionally, Brad is a financial planning author and educator. Brad and his team are committed to helping clients build multi-generational wealth through a prudent and disciplined approach to wealth creation and preservation. Brad is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge in his field. Involved in financial services education for nine years, Brad has earned several industry designations in addition to a Bachelor's degree in economics. These designations include: CFP - Certified Financial Planner - This is Canada's standard financial planning designation, and is recognized worldwide. R.F.P. - Registered Financial Planner - The most distinguished financial planning designation in Canada, this has been achieved by less than 900 individuals nationwide. FMA - Financial Management Advisor - This indicates an advanced mastery of financial planning concepts, with a specialization in servicing high net worth investors. FCSI - Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute - Representing individual integrity and supreme professionalism, the designation of FCSI is reserved for financial services professionals who have met the most exacting standards for industry experience, advanced education and solid endorsement from their peers and superiors. CH.F.C. - Chartered Financial Consultant - This designation represents dedication to excellence in financial planning and represents advanced technical knowledge and practical application of financial planning principles. CLU - Chartered Life Underwriter - this insurance designation indicates an advanced knowledge in life and health insurance and employee benefit plans.

Brad is a proud father of two, and in his spare time he enjoys Tae Kwan Do, and touring on his Softail Deuce motorcycle. In 2009 he helped to author the Certified Financial Planner exam for CFP candidates. He was recently named to the Insurance Council Of British Columbia.

Meagan Mueller has been part of our team for over 3 years as the Executive Assistant. Recently licensed as a Registered Representative, she is working towards a career in financial planning.

Meagan was born in Edmonton and moved to Fort St. John with her husband in 2006. In 2002 she won a silver medal in a provincial rifle competition, and went on to earn her pilot’s wings in the summer of 2003. She has been a vegetarian most of her life. She loves animals and enjoys math, painting, swimming, and being outdoors.

Meagan loves being active in the community and is excited to be around people who are passionate about making a difference.

Niko (YiChin) Lin recently joined our team as a research analyst. She passed all three CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) examinations in three consecutive years(2006-2008) and will be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience. The CFA designation is globally recognized and attests to a charterholder’s success in rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis.

Niko was a Global Data Quality Analyst at Lipper, A Thomson Reuters company, in Taiwan before she became a permanent resident of Canada in 2007. She graduated from Saint Mary’s University, majored in Finance, in Halifax where she met her husband.

Niko is a proud mother of a little boy, and enjoys playing, walking and reading with him in her spare time.
